In 2017, I started an online music education company called tonebase with two other fantastic co-founders. Over the past 5+ years, I've learned so much about startups and building a company. I've also had the incredible fortune of working with some amazing, passionate team members. tonebase is a joy to work on each and every day, and I'm excited to continue building it for many years to come!

I started playing classical guitar when I was just 5 years old. Now, I think I can safely say that every great thing that has happened in my life stems from playing music. I don't perform – or even play – as much since graduating from college, but I'm around music every day through my business (and my girlfriend) and I wouldn't have it any other way.
When I'm not working on tonebase, playing music, or relaxing with my pup Bella, my favorite place to be is outdoors. My top activities include skiing, hiking, running, and backpacking. I've been a nature lover all my life, and it's only grown stronger in recent years. To me, there's no better feeling than the freedom you experience from being outdoors!
